The style of Red Hot is pretty much based on the recordings of Robert Gordon and they have also several times backed the New York's finest himself on his European tours. But they are definitely not a cover band. Nearly all of the songs on this album are written by the band's vocalist Paul Kallonen. Beside skillful songwriter and vocalist Red Hot features also a guitar player extraordinare, Mr. Tomi Leppnen, who masterfully creates modern licks to the rockabilly sound of the band.
