Micke & Lefty feat. Chef is a band founded by two experienced blues musicians, Micke Bjorklof and Lefty Leppnen with bassist Chef joining in on their debut album "Big Bag" from 2004. The trio's music is a versatile mix of American blues and roots music with a modern twist, regardless of genre boundaries. Influences range from early delta blues, rock, soul and gospel to Hawaiian sounds. Micke & Lefty feat. Chef has performed and captivated audiences with energetic gigs in both small clubs and large festivals all over Europe. The trio, which has been active for more than 25 years, has been titled as Finland's most entertaining blues & roots band, which combines high musical expertise and the role of an entertainer. Micke & Lefty feat.Chef has also represented Finland at the Blues Challenge in Memphis and the European Blues Challenge in Berlin.
