Explosives
Three Ring Circus
The Explosives lived up to their name in the late 70s and early 80s, packing more power than their so-called punk rock peers. Jungle wails and monkey calls opened their 1982 album, Restless Natives, produced by Creedence bassist Stu Cook, who not only brought some CCR simplicity to the project but just enough Spector Wall of Sound to further differentiate the Texas trio from the rest of the pack. Three Ring Circus, includes the entirety of Restless Natives, (first time on CD) along with all other official Explosives studio releases, plus two live bonus tracks and a bonus DVD capturing the band in its garage rock jungle glory. Relive the combustible rock and roll energy of the three friends who werent just talented, prolific, and fun. They were explosive. The Explosives also well-known as Roky Erickson's backing band!
