He is a solitaire among European guitarists. Guitarist Martin Mr is one of the few who has developed an acoustic guitar strung with nylon strings into his own form of expression in the context of jazz and improvisation. The SZ described him as an institution for the Brazilian guitar in Germany. His style is rooted in European guitar music, influenced by the guitar music of Brazil in dialogue with jazz. Tempo Brasileiro, that is BOSSA NOVA, BAIAO, jazz ballads - in duo and trio - complemented by compositions by some Brazilian authors.
