Founded in Ulm in 1970, KRAAN, whose musical output includes timeless album classics such as "Andy Nogger", "Let It Out" and "Flyday", is still one of the pioneering representatives of the cross-border (fusion) rock genre. With their innovative mix of rock and jazz, enriched with psychedelic, world and funk elements, they have been thrilling their fans ever since, both live and in the studio. Now a concert recording of their acclaimed live performance at the legendary Finkenbach Festival from 2005 is released. Recorded in the line-up HELLMUT HATTLER (bass, vocals), PETER WOLBRANDT (guitar, vocals), INGO BISCHOF (keyboards) as well as JAN FRIDE (drums) - and originally only available as a limited bonus DVD of their studio album "Psychedelic Man" (2007) - the fantastically recorded formation presented on this day inspired versions of band classics such as "Vollgas Ahoy" , "Yaqui Yagua", "Hallo Ja Ja, I Don "t Know", "Borgward", "Nam Nam" (in a nearly 18-minute version) and "Kraan Arabia" (with a guest appearance by GURU-GURU legend MANI NEUMEIER).
