Frittenbude
Delfinarium
After 5 years on tour, 2 successful albums, countless bruises and dislocated body parts, Frittenbude decided to cut them -selves off from the outside world (apart from a couple of secret shows, guest appearances, side and solo projects with Ira Atari, Midimum, Kalipo, Pandoras.Box, Antime, and many more) in order to dedicate all of their time to their third album. They hid in a small rehearsal space in probably one of the ugliest districts of munich. Song after song and idea after idea were born, celebrated or rejected. The place was plain, basic and cold but it was crammed full with instruments, synthesizers, odds and ends and equipment louder than some large night clubs. Delfinarium (Dolphinarium) refl ects the feelings of Strizi Streuner, Martin Steer and Jakob Haglspergers heads and hearts more clearly than ever. The world wants to be entertained and Frittenbude have the capability to do so. A lot has been changed on this album, both musically and contentswise however everything of the new old has remained. Theyve stuck everything they have into Delfi narium and only the hard facts remain. The album has a mature refl ective attitude however the beats and lyrics pepper your ears as if there is no tomorrow and you can almost lose yourself in the mix of genres that pump out of the speakers. The set up is still the same, just the three boys and what comes out? An authentic and powerful album, that will convince every listener.
