With their third album CAPTAIN CAPA provide a surprisingly compelling and yet matured acting electropop concept - AUDIOLITH has rarely sounded so international. Since 2011 HANNES NAUMANN and MAIK BIERMANN are almost constantly on tour, with steadily increasing popularity and two previous albums that brought Thuringia to the ,map of Pop". With ,Foxes" CAPTAIN CAPA show a musically development and maturation by opening the album not with a pacey tune but the almost solemn songs ,Ghosts" and ,As Far As It Goes", before rising the tempo with ,Ikari" for the fi rst time. The outrageous catchiness and the danceable beats of the songs, the sparkling, glittering Synth-lines and the melancholy and euphoria survived. Subtlety in small details, sound and arrangements was added, what only stands out in some cases after repeated listening and what makes the album seem deeper, more serious and more convincing.
