Beast
Dark City
In the 70's, guitarists' Hans and Kurt Bergt founded their first band "SKY". Later in 1981, the band was renamed "Beast." The band played in front of thousands of fans and was a supporting act for "Scorpions", "Saxon", "Golden Earring", "Meat Loaf" to name a few, making a huge impact. The style of Beast took form and increasingly gravitated towards heavy metal as the band perfected their showmanship and musical abilities. 1983 was a good year for the band as their producer Harry Sprenger landed a record deal with CBS Switzerland, thus the first LP "Beast" was released. This album "Dark City" has been remastered which includes the bonus track, titled "Dark City" referencing the German label "SCREAM." Characteristics of this music production are heard through powerful guitar riffs, great arrangements and excellent vocals with 2 to 3 voice passages. Strong production intertwine to blend into one sonic entity. If you are a fan of "Whitesnake" or "Def Leppard" you will love this album! This is a must have for any hard rock or metal fan!
