Suburban Mist
Montreal-based metal band AraPacis is proud to announce the release of their latest album, "Suburban Mist." on Blackhouse Records. This marks the bands ninth full-length album, which continues their mission of blending 1970s hard rock and progressive rock with modern metal genres such as prog metal, doom metal, and metalcore. Led by Scots singer Michelle Macpherson, guitarist Jerry Fielden and keyboardist David Stone, ex-Rainbow, AraPacis has created a unique sound that has garnered them attention and accolades in the metal world. The band has shared the stage with notable acts such as Blaze Bayley, Uli Jon Roth, Anvil, Raven, the Agonist, and Doro, to name a few. "Suburban Mist" also features the talents of Jean Audet on bass, Gwendolyne Krasnicki on violin, Scott Haskin on drums, and Gillan Macpherson-Briggs on backing vocals. The album also boasts a very special guest, Derek Sherinian of Sons of Apollo/Dream Theater, who is featured on the title track. With "Suburban Mist," AraPacis delivers a powerful and introspective album that explores the struggles of urban, suburban and rural life and the human condition.
