Arapacis
Nucleus Of Chaos
"AraPacis (Ara-Patches) is a female-fronted metal band hailing from Montreal, Canada. Formed in 2003 by guitarist Jerry Fielden, fronted by Scottish singer Michelle Macpherson, and driven by both the superlative keyboards of (ex-Rainbow) David Stone and his 13-year-old protg Gillan Macpherson-Briggs; their goal is to re-create some of the original aspects of 1970s Hard Rock and Progressive Rock and fuse it together with 21st Century Prog Metal, Doom Metal & Metalcore to create a new metal hybrid. AraPacis have shared the stage with acts such as Blaze Bayley, Uli Jon Roth, Anvil, Raven, the Agonist, Doro, etc. The band is named after the Ara Pacis (Latin for ""altar of peace""), an altar in Rome dedicated to Pax, the Roman goddess of peace. Nucleus of Chaos is their 10th album. The albums lead track, Let In Love, features Derek Sherinian on keyboards (Dream Theatre, Black Country Communion, etc)."
