'Perfect Light' is the first 40 Watt Sun album created without a full, formal band structure. Frontman Patrick Walker enlisted a group of accomplished musicians to complete this album, including Andrew Prestidge and Roland Scriver (The Osiris Club), Ajit Gill (Vertaal), Lorraine Rath (Amber Asylum/Worm Ouroboros), and pianist/composer Chris Redman. Alongside Patrick's poignant and emotive vocals, his poetic lyrics remain central to the allure of the songs. With no intention to compose a dark sphere deliberately, the album contains shards of hope and light to pierce through the pensiveness. Comes on a 2LP set on black vinyl, including a 28-page booklet and a bonus 12", which has two alternative versions of track from the album.
