Bara Zmekova is a renowned singer and composer from Prague (CZ). Her music is a blend of folk, jazz and classical spiced with a bit of electronica and coloured by unique instrumentation and original compositions. Her new album, "Jediny na svete" (This alone), features 11 songs in which personal testimony and Czech lyrics play an important role, in which the author turns to experiences, memories and her life experiences. The compositions range widely in genre and theme, from seemingly simple-sounding songs to imaginative and experimental soundscapes.
