Bands such as Behemoth, Morbid Angel, Melechesh, Black Daliah Murder, Nevermore, Gojira, Death, Mayhem or Destroyer666 are part of a sound hard to categorize stilistically combining weird harmonics with thundershot riffs and hard-hitting riffs, always lead by the rabid screams of frontwoman Marika Hyldmar. The songs crawl out of the boxes relentlessly linking the abyssic of Death Metal with the wickedness of Black Steel ruptured again and again by Grooves and Chords of the new Prog generation. It is this what gives the music this unbelievably mad but the more delightful note.
