Anne Weiss 4th recording is an album where blues, folk, Motown and funk are infused with a political soul. Concrete World and the Lovers Dream features 12 songs - six blues, contemporary folk, and gospel originals, five soulful blues and Motown songs delivered in Annes soaring, gutsy style and a heart-rending version of Jackson Brownes "These Days". Some of the finest musicians of the Pacific Northwest and Mexico City collaborated with Anne on this diverse collection of songs. Produced by Kenny Passarelli, former bass player for Elton John and Joe Walsh, Annes work on Concrete World and the Lovers Dream has been reviewed as "Tracy Chapman, Eva Cassidy, Bonnie Raitt and Janis Joplin rolled into one." The CD also features blues guitar phenom David Jacobs-Strain, New-Folk winner Keith Greeninger, hip-hop recording artist Angela Via and members of the Northwest Community Gospel Chorus.
