Reflections In Time
The inspiration for Reflections in Time began during the fall of 2020 when the pandemic had already taken many lives in the United States and throughout the world. As a result of a lifelong commitment to performing music by Beethoven, Mozart, Schubert and other composers in the Western canon, Waites decided to look for music by African-American composers who have been underrepresented and marginalized and whose names are not familiar.
