`VKB' is a trio consisting of three experienced singer-songwriters from New York, namely Rachele Garniez, Amanda Homi and Terri Radigan. The name is a nod to Woody Allen's film of the same name, in which three women experience a lot of turmoil around a charismatic artist. This CD focuses on Tom Waits` songs, now with a feminine touch that transforms Waits' masculine archetypes. The melodies become more important here, the polyphonic singing in this context is very surprising.
