"Assig" is a mirable example of French Medieval Nostalgic Black metal as only Hirilorn's milestone " Legends of Evil and Eternal Death " was able to deliver. This album is darkly epic in every aspect, a perfect soundtrack for taking back from our memory images of struggle, battle and desolate battlefields together with a gasping of partly submerged melancholy. Do not expect anything but the mysticism of the 90 Black Metal, the era where underground was still an arcane world, where the detachment from the artistic atmosphere & media was respected. Do not expect extensive bio, let "Assiege" speak itself.
