Valientes, Los
Dos De Cal
"Germanor" and distortion. Having a band in 2024 is a true exercise in courage, unity, and friendship. In a world condemned to individualism, it feels like a miracle to come across bands as exciting as LOS VALIENTES. A brotherhood with a clear goal: to make melodic punk rock a new religion. The Manresa-based quartet, made up of Oriol Font (drums, vocals), Arnau Polinario (bass, vocals), Roger Rovira (guitar, vocals), and Toni Comino (guitar, vocals), doesn't do things halfway: in their new album "Dos De Cal" they show their most direct and fast-paced side. Songs where they vomit out anxiety, heartbreak, and agony; with a personal style where the desperate scream collides with the delicate melody. If they can spit out all that venomous bile in less than two minutes, why not do it? If they can make you fall in love in sixty seconds, why wouldn't they? Like a hug in a mosh pit, love and punches in equal measure.
