Goes To Argentina
In 2022 I returned to Argentina to visit my family. But the fates intervened and brought me together with a ska dream team made up of idols, friends, and artists. Some of these artists I had been listening to since the 80s, and some of them I had played with for more than 10 years. On this 2-track single, we immortalize the fusion of old school Argentinian ska and an upcoming Brazilian rocksteady project. This fusion would not have been possible without my dear friends Lucas Becerra from TDR studio and Adro Alarcon. I am grateful for this opportunity to bring together a bunch of magnificent musicians on two tunes: a rocksteady version of a classic English new wave tune and an original ska song, recorded at TDR studios by Lucas Becerra and mixed by Mario Siperman at El Loto Azul, Buenos Aires, Argentina.
