Troitsa
Zimachka
Slavic sensuality meets Folk-Pop-Arrangements and a uncommon set of instruments - thats how the Belarusian ethno-formation TROITSA delights with their sixth album. Since 1980 IVAN KICHUK is collecting traditional folk-songs of his home Belarus and since the middle of the 90s hes paraphrasing the traditional treasury of songs with new arrangements. With ,Zimachka" the trio presents a greatly succeeded album, reaching from ruminant to spirited. Apart from KIRCHUKs vocals you can also hear instruments like gusli, tromp, flutes, zither and 6- and 12-string guitars which give the nine songs a versatile acoustic pattern.
