Tomba, Joao
Y Las Culebras De Pluton
A new assault by Joao Tomba on the status quo of conformism and commonplace that prevails in our 21st century society. In the grip of power and mistreated, Joao goes into exile in Chapela, a coastal town near Vigo, fleeing from the debts and the meanness of the local authorities who, far from caring for their artists, seem to ostracise and excommunicate them. Thus begins a new adventure for Joao, this time accompanied by Las Culebras de Pluton, his alternative band to TDK Chrome. The 9 great songs that make up the album are pure rock & roll and are a dead-on review of Rolling Stones, Rolling Stones, Lou Reed, New York Dolls, which is no mean feat. Joao puts on the 80s teenager he never was to masterfully rescue the nostalgia of those times of drugs, fury and emotion.
