A typical Tex-Mex band, inspired by the music of the southern United States and Mexico, featuring accordion, acoustic guitar, bass, wind instruments and percussion. The music is a mix of cajun, blues, zydeco, bluegrass, Tex-Mex and polka. Max Tax is ultimately the European backing band during tours of Flaco Jimenez, whos also a guest on this album.
