The name of the new CD by the Susanne Riemer duo is not only due to the zeitgeist, but also reflects the program: the new disc is called "unpackaged" and comes along exactly like that, namely without shrink-wrap and without a jewel case, entirely in recyclable cardboard, apart from the CD itself. But even if the "cling wrap" is missing, the eleven pieces on this release are by no means characterized by a reduced sell-by date; the musical standards are too high for that, with which the duo easily sets themselves apart from the quickly perishing mass products of the culture industry
