Survival Guide
Deathdreams (brown/black Marbled)
'deathdreams' is the fourth full-length album by Survival Guide, which is the solo project of Emily Whitehurst, who is known the world over as "Agent M" from her time spent fronting the band Tsunami Bomb, who made Rolling Stone's list of the "50 Greatest Pop-Punk Albums". Dubbed "passion behind an electronic soul" by New Noise Magazine, Survival Guide's danceable tunes evoke a sonic birthday cake: alternating layers of Depeche Mode, Metric, Peter Gabriel, and Grimes, with vibrant melodies and vocals the icing on top. 'deathdreams' includes the singles "Sour Sorrow", "Pie", "Blood Perfume", and "Lady Neptune". The record was produced by Bob Hoag (Dear and the Headlights, The Ataris, The Format) and mastered by Jason Livermore (Descendents, Propagandhi, NOFX, Hot Water Music) at The Blasting Room. To ensure a high-fidelity listening experience, the lacquers for deathdreams were cut by Wes Garland at Nashville Record Productions in Nashville, Tennessee and the vinyl was hand-pressed by the incredible team at Burlington Record Plant in Burlington, Vermont. First pressing of 500 colored vinyl copies. Includes digital album download.
