Streetwalkin' Cheetahs, The
All The Covers (and More)
All The Covers (And More) wrangles every cover song the band recorded over its 25 year career and features a slew of special guest stars, including Cherie Currie (Runaways), Wayne Kramer (MC5), Sylvain Sylvain (New York Dolls), Jimmy Zero (Dead Boys), Deniz Tek (Radio Birdman), Bryan Small (The Hangmen), Jeff Dahl (Angry Samoans), and many more. Even the artwork itself is a salute to one of the bands influences, the Ramones. The lead single off All The Covers (And More) is the Cheetahs high-energy take of The Runaways classic "Cherry Bomb" with Cherie Currie herself on lead vocals. All The Covers (And More) features remakes of classic and obscure songs that display a wide-range of influences, from more obvious inspirations like the Stooges, Hanoi Rocks, Cheap Trick, the Dictators and Flaming Groovies, to the less obvious ones such as Iron Maiden, Bob Seger, Motley Crue, and Red Hot Chili Peppers. The recordings are culled from official albums, B-sides, obscure compilations, tribute albums, radio appearances, soundboard live shows, and even the bands original 1995 live-in-studio 4-track cassette demo, which features the Cheetahs original drummer (and brother of Frank), actor Breckin Meyer (Clueless, Road Trip, Rat Race). All songs remastered by Justin Perkins at Mystery Room Mastering
