With this double CD, Da Vinci Classics brings to a conclusion the ambitious multi-year project realized by pianist Pietro Soraci. The piano virtuoso recorded the complete keyboard works by Johann Sebastian Bach on the piano. A further element of interest is the fact that this is the first complete recording ever to have been realized using the new Brenreiter edition (in fact the project is under the aegis of this publisher). This last instalment comprises miscellaneous works by Bach, including youthful works, pedagogical pieces, and individual compositions, some of which were originally created for the lute or Lautenwerk.
