The Soul Comes Back To Boogie
The soul comes back to boogie, these are the two keywords: "soul" and "boogie". It's the desire to play rock music, remembering its roots, the beat of soul, the foundation of blues and the movement of boogie. This album is inspired by whirling sound, but also spacious and dreamy. There are 11 unreleased tracks and 1 Neil Young's cover "On The Way Home". The strings arrangements are enriched by the hammond, the piano, the Fender Rhodes and the mellotron, while the drums are played with 2 different styles (some recorded by Lu Silver and others by Matt Drive) to reach the right groove. Lu Silver was inspired by southern rock and London pub rock, when he composed the music. He also wrote all lyrics, telling about friendship, love, the desire to change direction and about different moods like melancholy, loneliness and having fun. The album has been recorded, mixed and mastered at "Atomic Studio" with the producer and keyboard player Enri Zavalloni in Longiano, Italy.
