Long-awaited comeback album on CD & LP on the artist's own label Dope Noir! Saint Privat is the story of a summer wedding in Vienna in 2003. The musician and producer Klaus Waldeck, who was invited as a guest, was quite enthusiastic about the Francophile Valerie Sajdik, who was singing in the wedding band, and an invitation to test recordings at Waldeck's quickly followed Studio pronounced. A short time later, the first number, a cover version of "Nothing to lose" composed by Henry Mancini from the film "The Party" starring Peter Sellers, was finished and the Saint Privat project was officially launched. "Nothing to lose" somehow became the unofficial motto of the two protagonists. Incidentally, the project name Saint Privat is named after the place of the same name in southern France, where Valerie Sajdik has lived for over 20 years.
