Cal Y Cemento

Radizi stages a mix between the urban and the rural. Past and present, voices, rhythms and sonorities, intersect and merge into a new hybrid sound between trance and tribal. Through electronics, the traditional music of the Peninsula Ibrica enters a new dimension, approaching new audiences and growing interest in our soundscapes. "Cal y cemento" is the debut album from the collective where nine original tunes get inspiration from the traditional rhythms and melodies from different places on the Iberic Peninsula. The album features the participation of the benchmark of a whole generation of musicians: Eliseo Parra, as well as emerging singer Aroa Fernandez.
