Polski Piach
Polnoc
After the languid Poludnie ("Afternoon"/"South"), it is now time for Polnoc ("Midnight"/"North"). Polski Piach consists of musicians associated with the Warsaw improv scene. After their very well-received debut release, Poludnie, exploring the sound of primal blues from the badlands, the band takes a step forward and presents a new album, recorded in a slightly different line-up, with Patryk Zakrocki on guitars, Piotr Melech on bass clarinet and Piotr Domagalski on bassolia. The title - Polnoc - reflects the dark, dense atmosphere of their new compositions, based on blues guitar pulsation, but also drawing on Polish folk music.
