Pinata Protest
El Valiente
El Valiente is the sophomore release from San Antonios Piata Protest. Building on the conjunto meets punk foundation of their debut album, Plethora; the accordion fronted foursome blast off into expansive musical territory with this set. Produced by Chris "Frenchie" Smith (Jet, Toadies, Built To Spill), El Valiente accentuates the bands punchy, road tested sound and takes it to another level. From the hilarious ghettotech intro to the the last notes of hardcore closer Que Pedo, the disc sports great new originals and monster covers of Volver, Volver and La Cucaracha, all delivered in the bands trademark style. The bands killer live shows have made them audience favorites any and everywhere they play--this is great rock n roll in any language. The first 300 albums are on opaque red vinyl.
