The Italian pianist Marina Pellegrino dedicates her solo debut Album to one among the most famous Italian composers of the XX Century: Nino Rota. The composer of hundreds of soundtracks for directors as Fellini, Visconti or Coppola with such successes as "Il Padrino", "Il Gattopardo" or "La Dolce Vita" was a wonderful all round composer and his catalogue includes some really rare solo piano compositions. This CD is a way to approach Nino Rota from a less known side, his piano music.
