"Charles Bronson revisited - a fresh take on Italian movie scoring In the summer of 2009 Friedrich Paravicini meets the hungarian farmhand Robert Kovacs. Paravicini is stunned: Kovacs looks like Charles Bronson, moves like Bronson; even his sparse english statements are sounding damn well like Bronson! All of a sudden, Paravicini sees himself confronted with his old obsession with dirty 60s gangster movies, their sinister protagonists and italian film scores. Driven by this encounter with the hero of his youth, Paravicini sets out to create "Mister Mandom", his very own version of a typical movie score. The 13 tracks, instrumentated with severe strings, cristalline cembalo and galvanic guitars, will make you envision your personal Bronson movie right on the spot! Paravicini composes and records his music alone, in style and with deadly precision. No mercy, no compromise: Mister Mandom."
