DOOPGROND is the third record from this Ghent based duo called Onmens. Kasper Van Esbroeck and Sigfried Burroughs (Kapitan Korsakov, FAR, The K, Northern Escorts,.) took their time for their third throw to obsessively work out their quirky brand of filthiness. The music that arose was recorded by someone who understood what Onmens stood for. Tim De Gieter from Much Luv became the chosen one. Some familiar elements from the previous records have remained, the in-your-face singing style, the unconventional guitar playing and the strange guitar tunings. But Doopgrond is the birth of a new sound that belongs only to Onmens.
