Under their original name Trisomy, this Dutch band have a history going back to 1997, but now as Only Fate Remains they stand for a combination of rock/metal with strong melodies, influenced by gothic, atmospheric, melodic and progressive perspectives, combined with the powerful, clear, rock voice of Eva Kokken. Because of this blend, the band clearly differs from other bands in the Gothic Rock/Metal scene, commercial and accessible for altrock/ metal fans but also powerful and intelligent for lovers of gothic metal as well, with resemblances to The Gathering, Lacuna Coil and Evanescence
