Hart Am Rand
After "The Boat Of Thoughts" (1977), "An Ocean of Rocks " (1978) and "Rubber Angel" (1980) "Hart Am Rand" (1981) was , the fourth and final album by the band from Frankfurt OCTOPUS. The all-German-language album also marked a departure from the "tension-filled, rock concert" and the more complex structures with many themes and tempos to change towards more direct and conscious commercial oriented songs. The particularly abroad celebrated singer JENNY HENSEL and guitarist Winfried Kowalik had left the band, got married and founded another project under the name THE RADIO. Briefly OCTOPUS then played with the singer Doris Tangel and Alex Rodmann (guitar, by the street boys) before in 1980 Georg Klivinyi (guitar), and singer Michael Stein (ex-Schinderhannes Rock Theater) entered the line-up. Sireena Records is proud to have published this album, now the complete catalog of the legendary OCTOPUS first time on CD is complete.
