Trombonist Jimmy O'Connell's debut record "Arrhythmia" is a showcase for his compositions as well as an exhibition in modern jazz improvisation. Performing five originals and three standards, the "SiXtet" is constantly stretching and searching, while never straying too far from the tradition. Originally from Detroit, O'Connell attended the University of Michigan and The Manhattan School of Music.
