Nuclear Warfare
Lobotomy
The South German thrashers NUCLEAR WARFARE write the 18th year of their band history and with "Lobotomy" they put their meanwhile sixth release in the record stores, on which they consequently dedicated themselves to the Thrash Metal of the 80s. On nine songs the neck muscles are once again tortured until the cervical vertebrae crack. The band once again stays true to their style and offers a merciless homage to the German Thrash Metal heroes of the 80s mixed with Bay Area influences and still manages to put their own stamp on the result. "Lobotomy" was recorded at the Oversonic Studio in Sao Jose dos Campos (Brazil) under the direction of Friggi Mad Beats and mastered by Neto Grous/ Absolute Master in Capivari, where the Brazilian colleagues of Andralls have already refined their last album. In contrast to its predecessor "Empowered by Hate", "Lobotomy" has become much more guitar-heavy in its production, which the band explicitly has attach importance this time. The arrangements of the trio are a bit more mature on their new album, but at the end of the day, Nuclear Warfare is included where Nuclear Warfare is written. The artwork by Brazilian graphic,- and tattoo artist Edu Nascimentto rounds off the longplayer and makes the overall result a "must have" for every fan of thrashmetal sounds! The band itself underlines its reputation as the figurehead of this genre also in 2020!
