Nattefrost
Futurized
Finally available on vinyl! Contemporary electronic music with vintage elements. Danish musician Bjorn Jeppesen is releasing his solo music under the name Nattefrost. It all started in 1995 with a cassette tape including some dark ambient tracks. But Bjorn developed his music and made it more melodic and rhythmic over the years. So far Nattefrost has released 9 albums, 2 EPs and is included on over 15 compilation CDs worldwide. The new Nattefrost album entitled "Futurized"" includes 10 electronic tracks. Some of the uptempo elements from the 2010 album "Dying sun / Scarlet moon" have been continued. There are also still a lot of vintage elements. The title track is almost 10 minutes long and might be the most vintage sounding track with lots of arpeggio sequences and vocoder voices. On the album a few artists are guesting. The danish electro act "Remember Green" is helping on "Electro Shock". "Dorvo" does some great backing vocals on "Ghost Mind"" and "Michel Moers", the vocalist from the legendary Belgian band Telex" works with Nattefrost on 3 tracks. "Futurized"" should appeal to the fan that likes lots of the old school spacey electronic synth stuff but also for the Nattefrost fans that like a mixture of vintage and modern electronica. Now this masterpiece is also available on 180 gram vinyl, limited edition in gatefold cover!
