Morini, Mai Lan & Daniel Gardiole
Claude Debussy, Reynaldo Hahn, Anthony Girard: Floraiss
This album aims to spark curiosity in the listener by presenting classical music in a way that is accessible to as many people as possible. Classical music always tells a story, evokes emotions and universal feelings that resonate with each person depending on their mood, the moment they are going through, and their personal history. This program is centered around the world of childhood. It invites the listener to return to the age where we loved everything unconditionally with Girards Merveilles de la mer, to revisit the early stages of life where we were fragile and curious but also formidable and furious with Debussys Childrens Corner. Then to explore the themes of love and identity-seeking in adolescence with Hahns Clair de lune and Girards Floraison. Through listening, the child within us is transported by what the music and evocative titles suggest.
