Hamburgs Mobylettes finally return from a long break of more than ten years. And their new album "Immer schlimmer" is even better than their fans expected in their wildest dreams. The groups aim once again is to take their sixties Girl Group- and Bill Bruilding-influences and to combine them with contemporary German lyrics. While the 13 songs always manage to sound like compositions by the likes of Burt Bacharach, Goffin-King, or even Phil Spector, all of them are indeed band originals. Good clean mod fun, powered by female singer Nixes powerful vocals.
