Mile High City

Richmond VAs MEMORIAL have been on many peoples radar for some time now. Featuring singer/songwriter Peter Appleby (RENEE HEARTFELT, COUNT ME OUT) as well as past members of STRIKING DISTANCE and AMERICAN NIGHTMARE, MEMORIAL play post-hardcore not unlike FAR, RIVAL SCHOOLS, Jupiter-era CAVE IN, or FAILURE. Mile High City is the bands follow-up to their 2008 LP and digital formats. This new effort shows MEMORIAL further exploring the depths of warm, reverby atmospheres and the mellower side of Applebys vocal timbres. Combining these new textures with bursts of sharp melody and thick, rocking post-hardcore, Mile High City offers an intimate listen into a band paying homage to its influences while stepping out on its own.
