"Streghe" ("Witches") is an italian concept album written and produced by Fabio Meini with music by Josephine Lunghi on the theme of women's rights. 8 songs for 8 female voices: Aurora Pacchi (Madaus), Marina Mulopulos (Almamegretta, Malfunk), Serena Altavilla (Calibro 35, Mariposa, Solki), Rita "Lilith" Oberti (Not Moving, Lilith And The Sinnersaints), Elisa Montaldo (Il Tempio delle clessidre), Alice Motta (Zen Circus, Criminal Jokers, Motta), Alessandra Falca (Volontré) e Martina Vivaldi (Merry Go Round). With the instrumental participation by Dome La Muerte (CCM, Not Moving), Riccardo Rocchi (Frizzi2Fulci), Lorenzo Gherarducci (Eveline's Dust), Francesco Bottai (Gatti Mézzi), Paolo Del Vecchio (Peppe Barra, Daniele Sepe), Fausto Caricato, Elisa Montaldo, Alice Motta, Davide Tognocchi, Elia Petrosino and Fabio Meini. The album also features the extraordinary participation of the actor David Brandon, a historic member of the Lindsay Kemp Company, known to the Italian public also for his participation in many cult movie of the 80s including "Stage Fright" by Michele Soavi, "Caligula The Untold Story" by Joe D'Amato and "Delirium" by Lamberto Bava. The album has as its cover image the work "La messa nera nuda" ("The naked black mass") by Gloria Pizzilli, an illustrator who boasts important national and international collaborations.
