Macchi, Egisto
Nucleo Centrale Operativo (+7")
The continuous search of Italian library music of the golden age for replication has led Cinedelic to deepen in the last year a reality, strangely not from Rome and Milan, but from Florence. It is a little label that has produced some tens of LPs in the 70s named AYNA. It was established by producer Sir. Bruzzichelli and Maestro Egisto Macchi (Gruppo di Improvvisazione Nuova Consonanza - The Group). The LPs on this label are very rare are highly sought after; they were printed in a few copies with generic white covers. Among all the catalog Cinedelic chose the 3 titles they thought were the most interesting and different from each other and, with patience and many hours of research, found the original master tapes. Nucleo Centrale Operativo is music composed for the TV series from 1974. A classic and avant-garde approach which differs from than the canons of the police movie ost which mostly used funk and American sounds. The LP includes a bonus 45rpm 7" with the song ACTION MUSIC, the theme of the series that was not included originally in the LP. Limited edition repress of 300 pieces.
