Pamela and Romero set out to make an intimate holiday album inspired by love and gratitude for family and friends, evoking the spirit of the season. Theyve always loved the Christmas recordings of the 50s as interpreted by singers such as Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra, Rosemary Clooney, and Mel Torme. And they always love to give standards a twist by using the Brazilian rhythms of samba, bossa nova, samba cancao, (plus a waltz or two).
