Loudness
The Law Of Devil's Land
The release of The Law Of Devils Land brings to an end the trinity of albums marking the bands early, Japanese only career. With the subsequent Disillusion album and its European release, the band was to find international success and a new home with Atlantic records in the USA. But that is to come. Released on January 21st 1983 and again produced and engineered by Daniel McClendon, The Law Of Devils Land is packed full of hard rocking highlights such as "Speed", "Mr. Yes Man", "The Law of Devil's Land", "Show Me the Way" and "Black Wall", all resplendent with powerful riffs and pounding bass and drums. For many, this album perfectly sums up the Loudness sound and therefore is considered by many to be the bands finest hour. The album was eventually to be picked up for distribution in Europe by Roadrunner records, making it the bands first album to receive a release outside of Japan. Definitely a sign of things to come... The Law Of Devils Land is released here on CD for the first time outside of Japan and it has never sounded so good.
