Lewsberg
Out And About
For the new album, Lewsberg worked even more as a collective than on the previous albums. "Of course we have always worked closely together as a band, but when we started working on the new album, we decided to do it even more thoroughly. The first singles are proof of this: Shalita wrote the lyrics for Without A Doubt, Arie the lyrics for Communion and Michiel the music. And we also hear - for the first time - Marrit's voice in both songs." The text for A Different View is another example of this collaboration: Arie wrote the first half, Marrit wrote the second half in response to Arie's text. Lewsberg sounds lighter on Out And About than on the first three albums. However, don't be fooled by the sometimes seemingly carefree sounds or lyrics; not infrequently there is a deeper layer, more serious in nature, under the music. And with that, this fourth album is again unmistakably Lewsberg.
