Kreft, Enzo
Wasteland
"Wasteland" is a coherent album. Kreft created the project with his typical DIY-attitude, recording and producing everything by himself. For this occasion he decided to release it as a CD, decorated with his own artwork and provided with a booklet containing the lyrics. The sound is perfectly in line with "Turning Point", it's even more obscure. The colors of the artwork reflect the sound. Kreft didn't lose his punk attitude: he's not hiding his aversion to dangerous, psychopathic world leaders who don't give a f*ck about the planet, it's getting him furious. "Wasteland" is about Mother Earth and the way mankind is mistreating it. The way everybody seems to carry on as if nothing really matters. At a certain moment Kreft gives the floor to the famous Stephen Hawking reflecting on a possible future for mankind elsewhere... Limited to 300 copies, comes in a 4 panel digisleeve with a 16 page booklet.
