Athens, GA based synthpop musician Jonah Cordy aka Kites With Lights will release the 10 song On The Edges the 7th of October 2014, via 24 Hour Service Station. The same 24 Hour Service Station that is the US home for Peter Hook and The Light, Freebass and other Hacienda UK distribution. In 2010 Kites With Lights contributed the New Order cover song, Dream Attack for Ceremony: A New Order Tribute endorsed by Peter Hook and benefited the Salford Foundation Trust. On The Edges will include the singles from the last 2 years, Glowing and Holding Hearts, available through all major digital outlets. It is the follow-up to 2011s Cosmonauts album which gained a boost in exposure when Mike Marshall, producer of SuicideGirls: UK Holiday heard Cosmonauts on Gill Mills (BBC, AmazingRadio) New Music Matters. Subsequently 5 tracks were placed in the film, airing on Showtime and The Movie Channel. This new collection of songs for 2014 is a fresh dose of soft vocals and synth beats that combine to yield fuzzy pop songs that call on you to reminisce, sometimes with hope and other times with desire. On the Edges delivers an urgent wall of synth production while crafting delicate yet intense songs for the listener.
