khalouben is a space of poetic vibrations. Voices play with words, and sometimes liberate themselves from them, beside a double bass that emancipates itself and draws melodic landscapes. khalouben is born from the meeting of two universes: the instrumental music of Benoit Cancoin who, with his double bass, has traversed 199al music, jazz and sound experimentation, and the voice of Khalou, Pascale Jourdy, who has traversed the songs and dances of the "world". The two began their adventures with covers. They soon went on to create their own universe, moving beyond the confines of simple songs to compositions in which double bass and voice play with roles, words and sounds.
